Xoi chien phong - Fried giant sticky rice ball

This is one of the traditional dishes of the South of Vietnam. It reminds me of the childhood when it was served in party events. It was usually served with grilled chicken. We - kids loved it so much. When I grew up, people didn't serve this dish much any more. I was so happy to find a place in Saigon in where it's served with tasty grilled chicken - Ga ta nuong Bay Duc. Maybe there are other places which serve this dish in Saigon but I have never acknowledge that so far.
